Teatro Romano

Teatro Romano
The Teatro Romano of Verona is an open-air theatre built in the 1st century BC at the foot of San Pietro Hill, on the left bank of the Adige River. It is one of the best-preserved theatres in northern Italy, so much so that it is part of the exhibition route of the city's archaeological museum of the same name, as well as a theatrical space and venue for the Verona Summer Theatre Festival during the summer months, whose editions have been held continuously since 1948.
